Pokémon manhole cover designs

Earlier this year Iwate introduced a series of Rockmor Ground-type, Pokémon manhole covers across the prefecture. Now,Japan’s most northern prefecture is following in Iwate trail and adding They’re own spin.

They are adding 15 Pokémon manhole covers to cities in Hokkaido.

Iwate’s manhole covers offered fans different Pokémon to seek out, on the other hand Hokkaido is offering a different approach.

They are doing this by taking tourists on a journey alongside its tourism support Pokémon Alolan Vulpix (Rokon).

Each cover is one of a kind and shows Vulpix (in Alolan and original form) In different designs.

interacting with different Pokémon.

Unlike other prefectures,

Hokkaido’s manhole covers are spread greater distances.

Tourists will have to travel further if they want to see them all.

Also each manhole will host a PokéStop for Pokémon GO players.
